Metrobank Japan Branches would like to announce that during 2025 Golden Week Japan Holidays your remittances to the Philippines shall be processed and sent to your beneficiaries using Easy Postal Remit Card (EPRC) and Metrobank Easy Transfer Service (METS-SMBC/MUFG/Resona) subject to SCHEDULE below: (Please note that there are some restrictions on money transfers during this period. For further information, please refer the important notes below.)

*The above schedule is based on the information provided by the domestic banks used for each respective service (SMBC/MUFG/Resona/Yuucho Bank). It is important to note that Metrobank Japan Branches’ processing of remittances is subject to the receipt of funds from the domestic banks, therefore any changes in the service schedule of the domestic bank may affect the schedule above.

Important Notes:
*1 Kindly confirm the usage time of ATMs, Internet banking, etc. used for the transfer of remittance funds and the details of the services handled for each bank.
*2 Please be advised that even if the funds are received your remittance will not be processed and will be placed on hold in case of any of the following:

  1. Amount of Remittance exceeds ¥300,000 (will require additional actions)
  2. Expired ID/Non-provision of latest Customer Information per bank records
  3. Unknown Japan Address / Returned Mails
  4. Violation of Service Terms and Conditions
  5. Aggregate Remittance within 30 consecutive days amounts to ¥1,000,000 or more (will require additional action)

Remittances not processed and placed on hold will only be processed upon the resumption of regular banking hours on the succeeding regular banking day after the holiday(s) subject to your proper compliance to bank requirements (ex. ID submission, confirmation of purpose etc.).
