Policy on Alliance with FinTech Companies

Basic policy and policy regarding API collaboration

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company Tokyo Branch together with its Osaka Sub-branch (hereinafter referred to as the “Bank”) has no plan to enter into alliance with any FinTech companies as for API regarding account information and funds transfer of/from customer’s deposit.

While the Bank fully recognizes the necessity to meet customer/social needs as for financial innovation, in consideration of limited number of deposit accounts held with the Bank, Open API (Application Programming Interface) shall not be arranged with any FinTEch companies.

The above policy is hereby announced in accordance with Article 10 of Supplementary Provision to the Law for Partial Revision of Banking Act.
