About Issuance Fees
- Issuance charge is JPY 1,000 per calendar year.
Note : Issuance is FREE for the first request of the year if registered to E-Statement. (For additional requests within the same year, the charge is JPY 1,000 per calendar year of remittance records.) - A year refers to a specified period between January to December. (Ex. November 2013 to March 2015 is considered 3 years.)
- A fee will be charged even if there are no remittance transactions in the years requested. In this case, “NO REMITTANCE RECORDS” will be indicated on the certificate.
- For mailing of payments, please send the form along with the fee using Cash Registered Mail (Genkin Kakitome) to the mailing address of your branch noted below. Associated fees will be shouldered by the requester.
Important Reminders
- All issued Remittance Certificate/s requested will be sent by postal mail to your registered address.
- This service is only available to individual registered remitters.
- The registered remitter is the only one allowed to request for his/her own remittance certificate.
- Please be advised that your request may not be accepted due to incomplete or non-provision of the required information.
- Incomplete applications will be terminated after 7 banking days.

To apply for a remittance certificate by email, please click the button of your Metrobank Branches (Tokyo or Osaka) below.
The button will directly transfer you to your own email account/app with an email template for you to fill out prior to sending. If you use your registered email address, there will be no need to attach your ID.
Important Notice
- All issued Remittance Certificate/s requested will be sent to your registered address by postal mail – even when the request is made by email.
- Please be advised that in sending your latest customer information via email, the Bank (Metrobank Tokyo Branch / Metrobank Osaka Sub-branch) shall not be liable for any loss or damage in connection with any unauthorized interception, information leakage, missending etc. of your email. The customer shall be solely responsible for the security of her/his email address and emails communications sent to the Bank.
Apply by Postal Mail
Download the forms listed below and fill in all necessary information. Print the forms, affix your signature, attach a clear copy of your ID, and send to the address of your registered Metrobank Japan branch below. Also, pasting our Address Sheet on the envelope will help you save postage fees as no stamp will be necessary when mailing.
