Metrobank Japan offers limited Courier Service to clients who are holders of a Philippine-based account/s needing the following services:

  1. Reactivation of Dormant Accounts
  2. Account Signature Updating
  3. ATM Card Replacement
  4. PIN Mailer Replacement
  5. Debit Account Request
  6. Other Documentations requested by the depository branch

*Please place your reservation after reading the Notes below. Walk-in clients will not be entertained.

Notes:

  1. For accounts opened in the Philippines, endorsement from the depository branch must be provided via email to MB Tokyo/Osaka prior to making reservation. Without the endorsement email, we cannot facilitate the desired service.
  2. For accounts opened in Japan under FBAS(Foreign Bank Agency Service), there is no need for the branch endorsement. Please proceed to our reservation system.
  3. During visit to our branch, kindly bring all the necessary IDs required to obtain a successful application. (Example: Residence Card, Passport, Deposits, Fees and others as required)

Charges:

  • Courier Service charge: JPY5,000
  • Reactivation of dormant accounts requires a reactivating monetary deposit. The deposit will be process under our remittance system and will incur remittance charge:
    For PHP and USD accounts: JPY3,000
    For JPY accounts: ¥3,000 + Lifting Charge (0.75% of remittance amount – minimum of ¥1,000)
