- An account number will be designated for every registered beneficiary. “Designated account” can be selected from 3 banks - SMBC / MUFG / RESONA. Same-bank domestic transfers are also possible.
- Transfer money 24hours a day to “designated accounts” including Saturdays and SundaysOur remittance processing hours is from 8:00 to 24:00 daily (except on specified holidays, i.e. National Holidays or system maintenance scheduled by SMBC, MUFG, or RESONA)
- Individual users can avail the regular rate + 0.0025 UP E-statement Promo.
Important Notes：
- For Yen to Peso and Yen to Dollar transactions, remittances less than ¥1,000 shall not be processed.
- For Yen to Yen transactions, remittances less than ¥3,000 shall not be processed.
- No need to call for remittance instructions, however, remitters are required to contact Metrobank for transactions of more than ¥300,000 to confirm remittance purpose/s.
- There is no limit for the amount to be transferred. Large amounts (ex. ¥1,000,000 and above) shall be subjected to Metrobank’s standard acceptance policies and submission of the prescribed documents to support the source and use of funds.
- Separating one funds transfer for multiple beneficiaries nor combining several funds transfers to one remittance/beneficiary is not accepted (one funds transfer = one remittance).
- Domestic bank transfer charges shall be paid by the remitter.
- Cancellation of domestic fund transfer shall be applied from the bank used in sending the funds.
