Change in Purpose to Use Specific Personal Information

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company Tokyo Branch and Osaka Sub-branch (hereinafter referred to as “the Bank”) hereby disclose, in accordance with Article 15-2 and Article 18-3 of Act on the Protection of Personal Information, that the purpose to use customer’s Individual Number shall be changed as followings.
Please also be informed that the change in purpose to use will be effective on 1 January 2018.
Note: Please refer to the change, which is underlined below.
Purpose to Use
The Bank will neither collect, use or provide to third parties customer’s Individual Number for the purpose other than those permitted by the My Number Act (Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedures)
- Preparation of statutory documents on financial instrument transactions
- Preparation of statutory documents on cross border payment and receipt
- Assignment to deposit accounts
