Before remitting, the remitter must register to Metrobank Tokyo or Metrobank Osaka either through online registration or postal mail.
Once registered, you will receive by postal mail an account number (METS) / remittance card (EPRC)

(Easy Portal Remit Card / EPRC)
A Philippine remittance service with a dedicated Japan Post Bank remittance card – making remittances simple and easy! Remit using this card through a wide network of approximately 24,000 Japan Post Bank Counters and 32,000 Japan Post ATMs (some available in select Family Mart convenience stores) and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Simply prepare your designated remittance card and cash to remit seamlessly.
Note: 1 EPRC card per receiving beneficiary in the Philippines

Remittance Account Number
(Metro Easy Transfer Service / METS)
A Remittance service that lets you send money to the Philippines with your own individual METS account number (Choice of SMBC/MUFG/RESONA) Using this number, you may directly send remittances online with internet banking on your cellphone or desktop, or through your nearest convenience store or local bank ATM. This enables you to remit fast and easy - anywhere & anytime!
